How do I donate?
Donating is easy! And thanks for asking. To donate, simply go to the front page and click on the ChipIn widget. If you'd like to give other people the opportunity to throw down direct them to tentstate.org. If you'd like to kick in a larger amount please contact adam@tentstate.org.
What should I know before I come?
Alot. First off, please read over this advisory from the Colorado Street Medics for folks coming in from out of the highlands of Colorado. You should also know that while the organizers are working their asses of to find camping for everyone, the City of Denver, particulary the Mayor's Office, seem hell bent on preventing speech of any kind that contradicts Sen. Obama's claim of change and as such are making it incredibly hard to find lodging for demonstrators. There will be NO camping at City Park. Please check out the ride/housing board.
Be sure to go over the People's Law Project website for numbers to have and reminder of your rights.
And finally, there is NO PARKING near City Park. Please go to the "getting here" section for directions to the parking facilities.
What should I bring?.
A tent, AIR MATTRESS OR OTHER PADDING, clothes that cover your skin, bandannas, vinegar, reuseable water bottle, money for food, signs, maps, a bike, friends, and a kickass attitude. Be prepared to end a war!
I need housing, what should I do?
Go to the Ride/Housing board.

My affinity group has its own plans...
Great. Our collective success relies on the well organized and spontaneous actions. Tent State is a space in which to strategize, prepare, and carry out your groups actions while coordinating with others. Please utilize our resources to help you plan.
My band would like to perform.
Cool. We'll have a small stage for spontaneous acts. Sorry, but we're all full up for the main stage..
Is there any legal support at TSU?
Yes, please contact the People's Law Project. Information and contact numbers will also be available at Tent State.
Will street medics be hand?
Absolutely. The Colorado Street Medics will be overseeing medical care at Tent State, as well as at Civic Center for the activities there, and of course, in the streets during actions.
Will there be busses to St. Paul (the RNC?)
We're working on having busses available. At the moment, Unconventional Denver is organizing caravans. Check them out here.
Why the Democrats?
Many many, reasons. This war could not have been raged without thier support. They've voted to continue it four times since they took control of both the house and the senate. Sen. Obama's backing off a commitment to pull most troops in 16 months, which is too long anyways (another 1,000 US dead, 30,000 Iraqis? Not acceptable.) He plans on leaving a "strike force" as well. Sen. Obama's farther to the right then President Dumbass on Palestine, he voted for illegal wiretapping, and in general is looking worse and worse everyday.
Is Tent State going to be at the RNC?
Yes, but not in the same form. Tent State is calling for people to join the calls put out by Unconventional Action, SDS, and the RNC Welcoming Committee. Check out their sites here: Unconventional Action, SDS, and the RNC Welcoming Committee
