Every Night During the DNC
The City of Denver banned camping in an attempt to suppress our demonstrations. We outwitted them though. The "Freedom Cage," the laughable 50,000 sq feet surrounded by razor wire and caging is useless for having your voice heard, but its open 24 hrs a day and it'll work to "feign" sleep.

5 pm - Pirates and Delegates Booty Feast
Meet at Gates Cresent Park. The Denver papers, the Rocky and the Post, are throwing a multi-million dollar party for the delegates and the media right across the creek. That's a lot of money! But, we're throwing a party for them too! There booty may be millions of dollars, but our booty is beer. And barbeque. Join us as we share our bounty with the delegates and let them know, even pirates want an immediate end to the war. (Why pirates you say? Well, we have to boat the delegates across the creek to arrrrgh barbeque!)

FUNK THE WAR
1 pm - Funky Snake Marches
2 pm - Union Station
We're done with dying. Kick off the weeks activities by bringing the war to delegates--and getting funky while doing it. Come express your hope and anger with the Democratic Party's continuation of the war; come show your solidarity by dancing in the streets, making music rather than war, and connecting with others united to resist war and imperialism. We can no longer express our dissent through endless marches merely asking for peace, nor can we simply lash out randomly at all manifestations of the system that drives the war machine. During this Convention we'll be very specific. When we show up on the 16th St Mall, there'll be no doubts as to why we are there. We recognize that people's ways of resisting are diverse, and we encourage a multiplicity of creative expressions of resistance (particularly those of a funky variety). Morning - Bringing the War Home
Join Iraq Veterans Against the War, Tent State, and the Alliance for Real Democracy as we turn downtown into one massive reminder to the delegates and the public of what war looks like, sounds like and feels like. Meet at Tent State early in the morning for trainings on how to get this done.
Evening in the Freedom Cage - Nomination of Party - Less Youth Ticket
Neither candidate or party represents our generation. They may pander to usduring the primaries, but now that they got what they need tossedto the side. We need our own candidates, not beholden to any party or corporate agenda. We need our generation represented. Tonight in the most appropriate place for our generation, we will nominate two voices to speak for us; to the media, the people, and ourselves. The candidates who win the nomination will be given intense media training over the next few days and have access to some of the most well known policy makers on the left to articulate a domestic and foreign policy that represents us! Click the link to nominate yourself or someone you know.

9 am - National Mobe for Just and Humane Immigration Reform
Tent State is backing the call put out by We Are America for immigrants and other justice-minded Americans to come together to denounce anti immigrant rhetoric and enforcement only policies and turn the tide towards “just and humane solutions.” Meet at Rudy Park (2855 W. Howard Pl) before 9 am.
The We Are America-DNC is united around four principles:
Just and fair immigration reform that will stop the criminalization of immigrant people;
Immigrant student rights, embodied in the DREAM Act and in-state tuition;
Tearing down the border walls to ensure that there are no more deaths in the desert; and
An end to the ICE raids, to protect children and keep all families together.
